Wallet Linking for Role-based Contributors

As we prepare for Meteora’s next phase, we want to show our appreciation to active community members who have contributed beyond just LPing — we also want to recognise all of our off-chain contributors.

This will be done in 2 ways.

Firstly, allowing users to submit their own contributions via the LP Army Contributors’ Form (contributors.meteora.ag).

The Contributors’ form will continue to be open until August 7th 2359 UTC.

Secondly, in addition to open submissions, we also want to recognize another group of active contributors throughout Meteora’s journey — honorary role holders on both the Meteora and LP Army Discord server.

Discord has been a continued focal point of community growth, and since the early days, the LP Army has awarded honorary roles to contributors with outstanding activity.

Today, we’re announcing a wallet-linking process for our role-based contributors on Discord. This consists of the “LP Army” role on the Meteora server and the “S1 Contributor” role on the LP Army server.

  1. LP Army Role (Meteora Server)

Honorary role given to users with outstanding contributions — given out through consensus of all the LP Army Moderators on the Meteora Server.

  1. S1 Contributor Role (LP Army Server)

A role given to members based on server activity.

Users with the ‘Cadet’, ‘Private First Class’, ‘Corporal’, ‘Sergeant’, and ‘Lieutenant’ role have been given a unified ‘S1 Contributor’ role.

Wallet-Linking Campaign

We’ll be using a third-party verification tool (Subber) in order to verify your ownership of the role, and thus link a corresponding wallet address.

We will have two separate campaign links for each role — if you hold either of these roles, submit your wallet address through the corresponding link below. If you have both roles, you’ll need to submit on both links.

  1. LP Army Role: https://www.subber.xyz/meteoralparmy/wallet-collection/lp-army-role

  2. S1 Contributor Role: https://www.subber.xyz/meteoralparmy/wallet-collection/s1-contributor-lp-army-discord-server

The wallet-linking campaign will take place over the next 7 days and will cut off by 14 Aug 2359 UTC. We will continue to give reminders throughout this period on all of our socials.

Things to Note

  • You DO NOT have to link your main wallet. Burner wallets can be used — the goal of this campaign is to allow us to associate a wallet address to the role holder’s Discord ID.

  • This campaign will be for role holders as of this announcement. No new changes to role assignments will be made from now till the cut-off period.

  • The ‘S1 Contributor’ role is only a temporary role used for wallet address collection of the LP Army server roles, and will be removed after the cut-off period.

With these initiatives, we hope to recognize all of our off-chain contributors and give you the credit you deserve.

Hey Miir

One question please,

Cadet was easy to get. Will the higher roles like Corporal or Sergeant will count as higher contributions?

Really solid initiative. It’s great to see active and sticky community members being recognized. Moves like this strengthen the foundation for a more committed and connected community. LFGrow :cowboy_hat_face:

I like this initiative, great to see people thats been showing up consistently and supporting the community benefit.

This is a great approach to rewarding active members on discord. Thanks for the consideration!

Congratulations to everyone that got the roles, all the best.

Great initiative, extremely happy to know that Meteora is striving to contribute to its loyal users!

I am an early LP Army Private. I worked hard to participate in training, study hard, and finally completed the assessment. However, now I am told that this role will be useless. We are also part of the LP Army. Many times, we did not get the LP Army role because the two roles felt too similar and we did not make further efforts. I suggest that the team consider those who have obtained the LP Army Private role early.

The early teams collected information on LP Army private roles and also issued NFTs. Has Rujia become an abandoned child? Is it because of the influx of Witch Studios later? I think we should still consider the earlier LP Army private roles, at least those who collected NFTs. They should not be abandoned.

What about those who gave feedback to proposals created here?

That would fall under contributors form.

Although we are not in the S1 ranks, we can strive for S2, continue to build the Met community, continue to be active, and look forward to the next season.
