Hey LP Army — I’m Yousef and I’ve been an LP Army Mod ever since we started the LP Army last year! I’ve been an active community member in Meteora for over a year now and have contributed actively to many different community initiatives to help further grow the LP Army.
And today I’m proposing a new Bootcamp & Public Thread initiative to help educate interested parties on Meteora’s wide suite of liquidity tools (check out launch.meteora.ag) aswell as help grow launches on Meteora transparently.
TL;DR: I’m proposing an educational initiative to onboard and support projects using Launch on Meteora. This includes a structured Bootcamp to educate founders on launching via Meteora and a Public Thread System where interested projects can open a public thread with the Meteora team and I for hands-on feedback and guidance. These threads will remain public enabling full transparency for the community on every project that decides to engage in this.
Initially, this initiative will go on for a trial period of 1 month. Once this period has passed there’ll be a new and formalized proposal that’ll cover key proposals such as budget requirements, success metrics, and long-term goals.
What I’m Proposing
1. Launch on Meteora Bootcamp
A structured educational program covering everything teams need to know about launching on Meteora, including:
- Understanding DLMM Launch pools.
- Understanding DAMM v2 Launch pools.
- DLMM vs DAMM v2 – pros and cons.
- Stake2Earn pools – Meteora’s innovative DAMM pools.
- Understanding Alpha Vaults.
The Bootcamp will be conducted through one live session and one AMA session.
2. Public Thread System for Launch Support
- Projects looking to launch on Meteora can create a dedicated thread, where the Meteora team and I will be able to communicate and offer guidance.
- These threads will be publicly accessible for reading, allowing for full transparency on every single message. Ideally, sensitive information such as launch dates or key details should never be disclosed to me or the Meteora team. If needed we’ll make sure to publically disclose any discussions post-launch.
- It will also be a place for other teams to learn from previous experiences.
- There will also be discussions channel made available for the community such that they can contribute with advice and share insights in real time.
Why is this a good idea?
As a long-time community member who has witnessed numerous launches supported by Meteora and the LP Army, I’ve noticed a clear need for a more structured and transparent onboarding experience around Meteora’s launch products. This is essential if we want to truly live up to the PPP narrative and agenda that Meteora and the LP Army have championed since day one. And that’s why I’m proposing this initiative - so that the Bootcamp can provide a clear and intuitive class for projects looking to launch using Meteora’s suite of launch products and the Public Thread can provide a transparent and clear overview of discussions between Meteora and any interested projects for the community.
One-month Trial Period
While I believe this is a clear need, this Launch Bootcamp will be a new initiative, and thus i would like to start this initiative off by proposing a one-month trial period. The purpose of this trial period is to ascertain the direction and impact of this initiative on Meteora, which will be key for me to shape out the long term objectives, budget requirements and success metrics of the initiative. This will be followed by a more formalized proposal with these details laid out clearly. During this Trial Period, I aim to:
- Curate the program content covering the Meteora Product Suite
- Reach out to developers and builders to attend the first Bootcamp
- Execute on the first Launch Bootcamp live session
