As Solana and its DeFi tools like Meteora continue to grow, there is a key opportunity to strengthen the Spanish-speaking community through structured education and outreach. Currently, educational content in Spanish is limited, creating a barrier for adoption among developers, investors, and Web3 entrepreneurs.
This proposal aims to establish a Meteora Education & Regional Leaders Program focused on Latin America (LATAM) and Spain. The program will be structured in two levels:
- A central leadership team for LATAM, responsible for designing the educational strategy, managing initiatives, and building collaborations with other crypto communities.
- Regional leaders in different countries, responsible for organizing workshops, events, and educational content tailored to their local communities.
Through this initiative, we will accelerate the adoption of Meteora by hosting in-person and online events, collaborating with existing crypto communities, and expanding Spanish-language education on Meteora.
Objectives
- Establish a central education team for LATAM to coordinate educational efforts.
- Develop a network of regional leaders to promote Meteora within their local communities.
- Organize workshops and events (both online and in-person) to educate developers and users.
- Collaborate with other crypto communities to expand Meteora’s reach in the Web3 ecosystem.
Program Structure
A) Central LATAM Education Team
This team will serve as the core organization behind the program and will be responsible for:
- Designing training programs and certifications on Meteora.
- Creating and coordinating Spanish-language educational content (videos, guides, case studies).
- Planning and overseeing workshops, hackathons, and meetups (both online and in-person).
- Partnering with existing crypto communities to co-host events and educational initiatives.
- Managing allocated funds and tracking program impact.
B) Regional Leaders (Country or Zone Representatives)
Each regional leader will be responsible for:
- Hosting local workshops and meetups adapted to their community’s needs.
- Creating educational content for local audiences.
- Engaging and onboarding new developers and investors into the Meteora ecosystem.
- Building partnerships with universities, companies, and Web3 communities to integrate Meteora into existing programs.
- Reporting progress and impact metrics to the central education team.
Activities and Strategy
- Spanish-Language Educational Content
- Tutorials explaining how to use Meteora.
- YouTube and Twitter video series.
- Webinars and AMA sessions.
- Case studies on real-world use cases.
- Community Engagement & Adoption Events
- Workshops and bootcamps to onboard new developers.
- Mini-hackathons with specific challenges built on Meteora.
- Meetups in partnership with other crypto communities to expand outreach.
- Participation in major Web3 conferences across LATAM.
- Expansion & Collaborations
- Engaging other Web3 communities and DAOs to promote Meteora within their ecosystems.
- Establishing an ambassador program for crypto influencers and developers.
- Partnering with universities and innovation hubs to integrate Meteora into educational curricula.
Benefits for Meteora
- Stronger adoption in the Spanish-speaking market, one of the most active Web3 communities.
- Increased user base and developer engagement within Meteora.
- Greater visibility and credibility in crypto events and communities.
- A decentralized and collaborative ecosystem, with local representatives driving adoption.
The Meteora Education & Regional Leaders Program will enable a structured and scalable expansion of this technology within the Spanish-speaking community. By establishing a central education team in LATAM and empowering local leaders to drive outreach and adoption, Meteora will position itself as a leading DeFi tool in the region.
