I’ve been following the LP ARMY SUMMER competition closely and love the lineup so far, from video content, threads, security, to LP-ing strategies, all are solid categories. But a very Wise man said ‘He who controls the meme, controls the Universe’. You all know the wise man right?
But I want to suggest an additional category that could boost participation and add a fun, viral layer to the competition:
A Meme or Visual Design Contest.
You might want to know my reasons, as this came to my mind during the last community call.
- Super Shareable: Memes and visual content spread faster and further than most formats. They’re low-effort to consume and perfect for platforms like X and Discord.
- Low Barrier to Entry: Not everyone can edit videos or write threads, but many can make memes or simple graphics. It opens the door for more people to join in.
- Educational + Fun: Memes and design challenges can still stick to the campaign themes (LPing, risk, strategy) while being funny or visually striking.
- More Community Vibes: It would give people a space to show off their creativity and humor. I’ve already seen people drop meme-like replies under LP-related posts, So why not make it a category?
Here’s how I think it can be structured
Submit memes, infographics, or visuals related to
• LPing moments
• Staying safe in DeFi
• LP wins/fails
• Fun takes on Meteora features
• Or just funny stuff with LP Army aesthetics
The Judging Criteria Ideas could include but not limited to:
• Humor or creativity
• Relevance to LPing/Meteora
• Visual quality or originality
• Engagement (likes, RTs, reactions)
For the reward pool, maybe carve out $500–$700 or even just some merch/titles/badges if the main pool is tight. Apart from the Prize pool, we can recognize Meme of the day/week, feature them on X community (LP army X community), or/with Discord. These can be chosen by Community voting rounds.
It is even great we have our official mascot (the Meteor Guy or what’s the name 
), we can ask people to use in their memes yunno.
These is just my opinions though, Would love to hear others thoughts. Does this add value or feel like noise? I personally think it would make things more lively and help LP ARMY SUMMER reach a broader crowd.
