Launch Liquidity Missions

This proposal introduces Liquidity Missions, a campaign-based system of on-chain “quests” that reward and retain LPs through interactive objectives — similar to quests in video games, but directly tied to on-chain liquidity actions.

Missions will be tracked and verified on-chain, with LPs receiving reward multipliers, badges, NFTs, or boosted emissions based on completion.

This is for Post TGE and why ? To keep community motivated

Yes with LP Army and making fee through LPs whether there’s TGE or not it doesn’t matter but we have to put into consideration for those that have limited capital, limited risk acceptance and limited skill to LP effectively.

A project cannot be just having top players, we do need intiative for lower tiers community members as well.

Liquidity Missions aim to:

  • Incentivize deeper LP engagement post-TGE
  • Reward real effort, not just capital
  • Create a culture of activity, not just deposits
  • Align LPs with launch goals and new vault strategies

How it works ?
There’s no hard rules as it is based on gaming concept.
But my suggestions for a start are as such:

Missions are time-based objectives such as:

  • Provide liquidity to a newly launched vault for 7 days
  • Bridge from another protocol and LP within 24 hours
  • Adjust position in DAMM V2 vault based on market move
  • Stake LP tokens and vote in DAO
  • Be among the first 100 users in a specific DLMM pool

Missions are seasonals ( 30 days or 60 days or even shorter ones if we have enough people to run )

Completion can result in rewards such as:

  • Bonus $MET emissions
  • Mission NFTs that evolve into a full “LP Identity”
  • Exclusive Discord roles or vote weight
  • Retroactive airdrops from partners or Meteora

What are the benefits ?
keeping community members attention is number 1 but most importantly is through gaming concept to better education or improve the skills of members that are using Meteora.
Boot camp is a head start and learning about the fundamentals but through gaming is to further improving their skills and mentality of LPs.

Not just benefits community but also our DAO.

Implementation Plan

  1. Phase 1 – MVP Season (Post-TGE)
  • 3–5 basic missions (LP, stake, swap)
  • Track completions via wallet on frontend
  • Basic points system and leaderboard
  • Bonus emissions based on top 10% performers
  1. Phase 2 – Mission NFTs and Partner Collaborations**
  • Mintable NFTs as proof of completion
  • Missions co-designed with partner protocols
  • Open API for third parties to create missions
  1. Phase 3 – Integration with Points / veMET
  • Completion boosts Meteora Points or veMET weight
  • Missions used as a basis for exclusive access or DAO voting boosts

Funding

  • A small allocation of $MET (e.g. 0.5–1% of total supply) for mission rewards
  • Developer and operations budget for frontend and mission tracking logic
  • Partner protocols can co-fund custom missions in future seasons

I think having these missions on top of boot camps could be very educational

Having missions can teach users about the different products they can use within meteora, and how to use them.

Can complete missions with as little as $1 since it’s more for education.

I’m thinking like a in-house layer3 (if you’re familiar with that) kind of thing.

Also just thinking about something along the lines of a crash course on all the products within the meteora suite and not including third party apps for liability reasons lol.

Very small allo for completing the mini courses and/or collecting a badge/nft.

The majority of rewards should still to go towards generating fees via LPing

yes . the main idea is to let people get more skillful true missions, so in the long run they will be more independent is making their own money

Good proposal, I think help to creative approach to engage and retain LPs post-TGE through gamified, on-chain quests. By rewarding effort and fostering community activity, it aligns LPs with project goals while supporting lower-tier members. The seasonal structure and diverse rewards like NFTs and boosted emissions are compelling. It enhances retention, skill-building, and DAO insights, making it a promising strategy for Meteora’s ecosystem.
