Meteora is building for the internet capital markets of the future.
Meteora’s strongest thesis today is Internet Capital Markets. Conceptually, we believe in freedom of capital and opportunity, and believe that any founder in the world should be able to raise capital for his ideas, from anyone in the world.
This is a thesis shared by a lot of people in Web3, and we’re honored to be joined by amazing talent the likes of Proph3t, Mercy, Adam, Pierre, and many more in our journey towards ICM.
However, there is one core tenet that we believe in: Scalability.
I believe that ICM is the future, simply because the barrier to entry to be a founder will be near-0 in the future. With AI, products and code is only limited by the questions you ask, and not your technical ability.
We believe that the future is 100x more founders, raising 100x smaller rounds. The Finance world has the opposite thesis, it has thrown MORE money at less companies (see the rise of the $1T IPO). But we fundamentally believe in
The Bet
Meteora’s strategy in ICM is simple: scale capacity.
Not who can raise. Not how they raise. How many can raise — and how well we can support each one finding PMF.
We believe the best founders aren’t the ones with pedigree. They’re the ones who never had access to opportunity, and are ready to prove they deserve it. Our job is to make sure the infrastructure exists when they show up.
This year, while the market consolidates, we are investing in scale.
- Increase the frameworks that @BedrockFndn supports, permissionlessly and with 0 human intervention helping everyone in the world have access to an incorporated entity.
- Increase MeteoraAG’s tech integrations, powering more launchpads with their own funnels, audiences, to access advanced fundraising technology.
And Lastly: We will build out more distribution channels, more systems, to handle more founders and help them find PMF. Because we believe that the best teams aren’t only the ones with pedigree, it’s a guy who never had access to opportunity, and is ready to prove he deserves it.
