Overview
I’d like to propose bringing Meteora to the Solana Mobile dApp Store. With the Solana Phone Seeker, users can now download dApps directly and connect their Solana wallet natively — without the extra step of installing a wallet extension and browsing through it.
Why this matters
-
Currently, most users access Meteora via a wallet’s in-app browser. While it works, the flow feels clunky.
-
An official Meteora app in the dApp Store would allow users to open Meteora directly, with wallet connection handled by Solana Mobile Stack (SMS).
-
This simplifies onboarding and makes liquidity provision on Solana more accessible to a wider audience.
How it can be implemented
The good news is that building such an app doesn’t require a full rewrite of Meteora:
-
The app can be developed as a lightweight wrapper (essentially a WebView) that loads the existing Meteora web interface.
-
Using the Solana Mobile Stack SDK, the app can request wallet permissions and handle transactions natively.
-
No need to duplicate core functionality — all features (DLMM, liquidity pools, trading) stay the same, but now with seamless mobile wallet integration.
-
Publishing to the dApp Store would make Meteora discoverable to every Solana Phone user by default.
Benefits
-
Faster, smoother access to Meteora directly from mobile.
-
Stronger visibility within the growing Solana Mobile ecosystem.
-
Lower friction for newcomers exploring DLMM and liquidity strategies.
-
Future flexibility: once the wrapper is in place, additional mobile-native features could be layered in later.
Conclusion
This is a low-effort but high-impact step. A simple dApp Store wrapper with native wallet connection could bring Meteora to every Solana Phone user with minimal development overhead, while opening the door to broader adoption.
