Proposal: 
I propose integrating Meteora into Jupiter as a subcompany. This would mean $JUP also governing Meteora.
Background: 
Meteora was co-founded by several Jupiter developers. Meteora is an important vertical in the Jupiverse, providing liquidity for many pairs. Meteora is scheduled to launch the $MET token which upon thought, might not be the best strategic move. $MET will not reach the heights that $JUP can reach in terms of strategic positioning and value. I am of the believe that both Meteora users and $JUP holders would benefit from an integration.
Not just looking at the fees from Meteora that would supercharge JUP buybacks especially during market volatility, but JUP would further achieve its goal of being the token that is aligned with the development of the ecosystem and community. Currently the space suffers deeply from fractionalisation due to the abundance of tokens. $MET and $JUP do not need to be competing for capital as both assets by default, are aligned. $JUP provides swap request to Meteora while Meteora provides the liquidity.
G.O.A.T- Governace, Organic, Alignment, Transparency:
In making $JUP the G.O.A.T token, the best value proposition must always be offered not just to the community, but to the ecosystem as a whole. How important is this alignment? If Jupiter wants to aggregate everything and be the most aligned token, we need to deepen the vertical. To make Jupiter the best, it needs to be the hub of finance. Having Meteora within the vertical would increase the attractiveness of Jupiter as a whole making it an asset to own. The idea isn’t to make Jupiter a single company but to make Jupiter a planet with many companies working together to advance the goal of the developing of the planet, which in turn benefit the catdets on the planet.
Concerns? 
Concerns about bias routing? Well firstly, to be the GOAT token JUP must be transparent. One way to allay these fears is to audit the routing for all to see that JUP is not being bias in its routing at the detriment of users. Secondly, the two biggest competitors to Meteora, Orca and Raydium both have swap infrastructure in place.
Concerns about DAOs and Governance of Meteora?
Upon integrating Meteora into the planet, a subDAO and working group can be established. Individual discords should be kept as well. This would ensure that concerns within the Meteora community are easily heard.
Funding? 
Where the funding would come from tor the MET points? I propose using either the team’s or community’s strategic reserves or a combination of both.

I’m looking forward to hear everyone’s thoughts on this. I do believe this would be the best strategic move as we think beyond Jupiter being a single protocol but an aggregate of protocols and infrastructure working for the betterment of all.
