# Ember Vault : A buyback mechanism for $MET

Gmet,

Following the Jupiter pawsteps, (Litterbox Trust) and after witnessing the Hyperliquid’s successful tokenomics, i’m proposing to create the **Ember Vault** , a strategic reserve and buyback mechanism for MET.

By doing this, MET becomes a solid, long term appreciating digital asset, backed by actual revenue.  
(Versus just another governance token)

- 50% of the protocol fees used to purchase MET daily on the open market

- Active from day one to lower sell pressure significantly on TGE

It’s a good proposal but I think team already have the plan in place.
